Thanks Birdfest Friends and Family!

Thousands of fun loving people have gathered at Birdfest over the years to celebrate music, community, and good living.  Our little homegrown party in the middle of nowhere has slowly grown into one of South Carolina’s premier music festivals.

We’re proud of our utterly unique atmosphere. We’re proud of the top-notch musical entertainment we get every year. We’re proud of the cool, family-friendly, party-loving, music-loving super-community we are able to create for one weekend every Spring.  We’re glad that you’re a part of it.

As our little homegrown festival has grown (and grown and grown), we feel the strain, financially speaking.  As we grow each year, it takes more money for more festival infrastructure.

Our goal is to provide two days of great music and keep our ticket price low and to make contributions to our community.

We’re calling on our great Birdfest family to band together and MAKE THIS FESTIVAL THE BEST IT CAN BE AGAIN!  We’re looking for all of our friends to consider contributing a little time, energy and (ideally) money.

This can be done in a couple of ways:

1. Individual and Corporate Sponsorship
Our sponsorship packages offer the opportunity to give to Birdfest while enjoying great perks and  conveniences, plus the benefits of great exposure for your business or organization.  Click here to see our sponsor packages.

As always, your contribution is tax deductible and goes to a great cause.

2. However You Want
If you’ve got an idea, then we’re all ears.  Just get in touch and we’ll get you involved. We need your help spreading the word and helping in the cause.

Your contribution is supporting several GREAT causes!
We rely on volunteers and the support of several non-profit organizations. For this help, we make and have made donations to the Central Carolina Technical College Foundation, Manning Lions Club, Summerton Rotary Club, Clarendon Habitat For Humanity, Manning Civitan Club, My First Books, schools and youth groups, and more.

Your Birdfest contributions have supplied eyeglasses through the Lion’s Club; relief to families devastated by floods; coats and shoes for children who would not have them otherwise; scholarships to deserving students; building a house for a deserving and qualified Habitat For Humanity homeowner; contributing to area youth programs; and more.

Birdfest supports Palmetto Project’s statewide childhood literacy project, known as My First Books South Carolina.   This project is part of Dolly Parton’s research-driven, national literacy campaign that has been proven to directly impact the lives of children (and their families) in a very positive way.

Birdfest proceeds are used to put books in the homes of pre-kindergarten aged children.  Every $33 that we raise enrolls a family in the program for one year.  Through My First Books South Carolina, the Birdfest Community directly impacts the quality of education in South Carolina.

We can’t wait to see just how much good we can do this year.  Get on board and help make a difference!
