Rules for RV Parking

How much is an RV spot?

RV Spots are $250 and are valid for the two-day festival.

How do I purchase an RV pass?

RV camping spaces must be purchased with a weekend pass. 

Weekend passes are classified as “Friends of Birdfest,” VIP, or General Weekend Pass.

Campers must be able to fit the RV as well as any additional features in the reserved space.

What comes with my RV pass?

Your RV camping purchase includes space and parking for one RV and one vehicle. This is not an entry into the festival as well.

There will not be electrical hookups. If you are in need of power, please bring a generator.

How do I check into my RV spot?

All entry and exit for the RV campground are via 8444 Old River Road Pinewood, SC 29125

The RV lot is open 8-5 p.m. Thursday and then again open at 8 a.m. Friday. Please do not plan to arrive earlier than 8 a.m. on both days.

At the security checkpoint, present the pre-purchased RV tickets. Proceed to the RV Lot. The RV attendant will check you in, assist in parking your RV, and then instruct you to go to Festival Check-in to claim your wristbands and credentials. 

If you plan to camp beside another group, you need to arrive at the same time at the site. Site selection is not guaranteed.

Coolers, backpacks, and wristbands may be checked at the campground for festival entry.

What should I bring to the RV Park?

Feel free to bring food and beverages with your RV (just no glass containers).

Generators are allowed.

The RV campground is for self-contained RVs with hard-shell exteriors only. (Pop-ups are allowed.) Tents are prohibited in the RV area.

When can RV’s start entering the grounds?

RV’s can enter festival grounds Thursday between 8-5 p.m. and Friday beginning at 8 a.m.

Site parking is first come-first-served basis.

When do RVs and Tent Campers have to leave the grounds?

By 10 a.m. on Sunday. 

Will there be electrical hookups?

No, if you require power, please bring a gas generator.

Will there be sewage hookups?

No.

Dos & Don’ts

Drugs, tobacco products, firearms, fireworks, and animals are prohibited. Glass containers are not allowed on festival grounds.

Talking, singing, radios, televisions, etc. must be kept at a volume that will not disturb other guests. “Quiet Time” is from midnight to 7 a.m. Generators should be turned off to observe “Quiet Time.”

All RV campers must have a fire extinguisher easily visible from the outside or readily available from the door of the RV.

Children are to be supervised at all times.

Please put trash in properly labeled containers.

South Carolina Waterfowl Association is not responsible or liable for accidents, loss, or theft occurring in the RV camping area at Birdfest.

Birdfest reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

The RV Campground Manager has the authority to enforce these rules throughout the event. By purchasing your tickets, you agree to abide by these rules.
